Mrs. Rachel Davis: After I graduated from Colby College (where I studied biology and environmental science), I became a medical technologist and worked in a hospital lab. Then I worked in a seed testing lab at Cornell University's Agricultural Experiment Station. I loved these laboratory experiences, but wanted to work with people- specifically young people- instead of seeds and bodily fluids :) So, I went to graduate school to become a teacher. Now I have a full and satisfying life as a mother, wife, and science teacher!
