Sports Injuries

-->
Trevor
Having a sports injury may cause depression and might ruin a career. Tracy Mcgrady, the ninth pick in the 1997 draft and in the 2002-2003 averaged 32.1 points. Six seasons later he averaged only 15.6 points, less than half of his average in the past. You might ask why and the answer would be because of sports injuries. This is a perfect example of a ruined career. There are ways to prevent sports injuries.
  1. Play carefully. Just make sure you know where other people are on the field and be careful with the ball. Know your surroundings.
  2. Wrap your ankles. If you have had ankle problems in the past you might want to do this. It helps by offering support to weakened muscles or ligaments.
  3. Stretch often. This helps by loosening your muscles so you don't tense up during a game. It is also recommended to stretch after workouts or practices to cool down.
