Cardiovascular Disease affects the heart and blood vessels. Blood vessels carry your blood throughout your body. The majority of people who have this disease are adults.  Less than three percent of children in the United States have high blood pressure. To protect yourself from Cardiovascular Disease you need to control
  • high blood pressure
  • high cholesterol
  • smoking
  • obesity
  • and physical inactivity in your childhood.

I would suggest to go to your doctor to get your cholesterol and blood pressure checked to make sure you are healthy. Cardiovascular Disease is also called Heart Disease and is not contagious.
